REAL Broker’s revenue share program is one of the most generous in the industry, allowing agents to build passive income streams by growing their network. Unlike traditional brokerages that keep 100% of company dollar, Real shares a portion back with the agents who help grow the company.

This calculator helps you model your potential earnings across all 5 tiers. Whether you’re just starting to build your network or already have agents producing at multiple levels, you’ll see exactly how much revenue share you could earn — and what’s needed to unlock deeper tiers.

REAL Broker Revenue Share Explained
A complete breakdown of how the 5-tier revenue share model works and how to maximize it.

How REAL Broker Revenue Share Works

REAL Broker’s revenue share program pays you a percentage of the commission splits generated by agents in your network, up to 5 levels deep. Here’s the breakdown:

TierPercentageMax Per Agent ($12K Cap)Unlock Requirement
Tier 15% of GCI$4,000/yearAlways unlocked
Tier 24% of GCI$3,200/year5 producing T1 agents
Tier 33% of GCI$2,400/year15 producing T1 agents
Tier 42% of GCI$1,600/year20 producing T1 agents
Tier 51% of GCI$800/year25 producing T1 agents

Understanding “Producing Agent” Status

A producing agent is one who has earned at least $3,000 in gross commission income (which equals $450 paid to REAL Broker) within the previous 6 months. Only producing agents count toward tier unlocking requirements and generate revenue share for their sponsors.

The Power of Depth

While Tier 1 provides the highest per-agent payout, the real power of REAL Broker’s revenue share comes from depth. Consider this: if you have 25 producing Tier 1 agents, and each of them sponsors just 5 agents, you’d have 125 Tier 2 agents generating $3,200 each — that’s $400,000 in annual revenue share from Tier 2 alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does REAL Broker’s revenue share work?
REAL Broker’s revenue share is a 5-tier system where you earn a percentage of the commission splits paid by agents in your network. Tier 1 (agents you directly sponsor) pays 5% of their GCI contribution, Tier 2 pays 4%, Tier 3 pays 3%, Tier 4 pays 2%, and Tier 5 pays 1%. Maximum earnings per capping agent at the $12K cap level are $4,000 (T1), $3,200 (T2), $2,400 (T3), $1,600 (T4), and $800 (T5).
How do I unlock Tier 2-5 revenue share at REAL Broker?
There are three paths to unlock higher tiers: Path 1 (Tier 1 Producing) requires sponsoring 5 producing T1 agents for Tier 2, 15 for Tier 3, 20 for Tier 4, and 25 for Tier 5. Path 2 (Attractor) unlocks Tiers 1-3 when you cap yourself. Path 3 (Producer) unlocks all 5 tiers when you achieve Elite Agent status ($12K cap + $6K in transaction fees).
What is a ‘producing agent’ for REAL Broker revenue share?
A producing agent is defined as an agent who has earned at least $3,000 in gross commission ($450 paid to REAL Broker) within the previous 6 months. Only producing agents count toward tier unlocking requirements and generate revenue share for their sponsors.
How does co-sponsorship affect REAL Broker revenue share?
When an agent lists two sponsors, the revenue share is split 50%/50% between both sponsors. Co-sponsored agents count as 0.5 agents toward tier unlocking requirements. For example, if you co-sponsor 10 agents, that counts as 5 agents toward unlocking Tier 2.
What is the maximum revenue share I can earn at REAL Broker?
There is no cap on total revenue share earnings. The maximum per individual capping agent varies by tier and their cap amount. Building a large network across all 5 tiers can generate significant passive income — some top agents earn six figures annually from revenue share alone.
How does REAL Broker revenue share compare to eXp Realty?
REAL Broker’s revenue share extends to 5 tiers (vs eXp’s 7 tiers), but Real’s percentages are generally higher at the critical first few tiers. Real also has simpler unlocking requirements and the newer Attractor/Producer paths make it easier to unlock tiers without recruiting. REAL Broker has no monthly fees ($0 vs eXp’s $85/month), which means more money flows through the revenue share system.
Disclaimer: This calculator provides estimates based on REAL Broker’s 2026 revenue share structure. Assumes all agents cap at the company.
